Getting paid

Slot’d uses Stripe to collect payment when a client books, and pays out to your bank. You keep control of pricing, deposits, and refunds.

Payout to their bank
On Stripe's schedule
0% platform fee on Solo — providers keep 100% of payouts (standard Stripe processing still applies). Deposit now, balance later. Cancelling reverses the refund automatically.

Connect payments

In Settings → Connect payments, set up your Stripe account (Stripe Connect Express). Onboarding is handled by Stripe — add your business and bank details, and once Stripe marks you active, payouts go straight to your bank. Slot’d never stores your card or bank numbers.

Deposits vs. full payment

Per service, choose whether clients pay a deposit or the full amount at booking. The balance (if any) can be settled in person or recorded later.

Fees — keep 100% on Solo

On the Solo plan, Slot’d takes 0% of your booking payments — you keep 100% of your payouts. (You’re already paying the flat monthly subscription; there’s no per-booking cut on Solo.) Standard Stripe processing fees still apply, as with any card payment.

Refunds

Cancel an appointment from the dashboard and Slot’d handles the refund according to your refund policy — the funds reverse back to you correctly. Always cancel through Slot’d rather than refunding directly in Stripe, so your calendar and the client’s notification stay in sync.

Off-platform sales (walk-ins & cash)

Took a walk-in who paid cash or Venmo? Log it in seconds under Bookkeeping — create or pick the client and record a completed sale. It rolls into that client’s totals and your revenue without going through the Slot/booking flow. See Clients & CRM.
