Photo gallery
Photos of your work do more to win a booking than anything you can write — especially for someone who has never met you. Your gallery appears on your booking page and in Slot’d search.
Adding photos
Gallery → Add photos in the left-hand menu. Pick one or several straight from your phone.
Uploads take a moment to appear. Slot’d resizes every photo and converts it to a web-friendly format so your booking page loads fast on cell data — a 6 MB phone photo becomes about 200 KB with no visible difference. The grid shows “Processing…” while that happens.
How many you get
| Plan | Photos |
|---|---|
| Free | 3 |
| Solo | 12 |
| Team | 12 |
The count is shown above the grid, so you always know where you stand. If you change to a plan with a lower limit, you keep every photo you already uploaded — you just can’t add more until you’re under the new limit.
Putting them in order
Hover a photo and use the ← → arrows. The first photo is marked, and it’s the one that carries the most weight: it leads your booking page and it’s the image on your card in Slot’d search. Put your strongest work there.
Captions
Optional, up to 140 characters. Useful for context a photo can’t carry on its own — “balayage, 3 hours”, “full detail, 2019 F-150”. Hover a photo and choose Add caption.
Removing a photo
Hover the photo and choose Remove. It comes off your booking page straight away and the file is deleted. This can’t be undone.
What makes a good gallery
- Before-and-afters beat a single finished shot — the change is the story.
- Natural light, and get close. A wide shot of a room says less than the detail.
- Three good photos beat twelve mediocre ones. People scroll fast.
- Lead with your best. The first photo does most of the work — see above.
