Repeat bookings
For the clients who come back on a rhythm — every other Tuesday, the second Friday of the month, the 10th — you can book the whole run at once instead of rebooking each time.
Setting one up
Open the client, go to the Appointments tab, and choose Set up repeat booking.
Pick the service and how often it repeats:
- Every week
- Every other week
- Same date each month — taken from the date of the first appointment
- A certain weekday each month — first, second, third, fourth or last
Then pick the first appointment’s date and time.
You see the dates before anything is booked
Slot’d shows you exactly which dates it will book, in your timezone, along with anything they run into — an existing appointment, or a date you’ve blocked off.
Nothing that conflicts gets booked. Those dates are listed, skipped, and the rest go ahead. If you’d rather keep them all, change the day or time and look again.
What your client gets
One email listing every date, when you set the series up — not one message per appointment. After that each appointment sends its normal reminders.
No payment is taken at booking. Repeat bookings are for clients you already know, so you record payment per visit the way you always have.
Keeping it going
Slot’d books several appointments ahead and quietly adds more as they get used up, so the schedule never runs out.
Changing or stopping
- One appointment: cancel or reschedule it like any other. The rest of the series is unaffected.
- The whole series: choose End series. That stops new appointments being added. Appointments already on your calendar stay — your client is expecting those. If you want them gone, cancel them individually.
Months that don’t have the date
If you pick the 31st, months with 30 days or fewer are skipped, not moved. An appointment nobody agreed to is worse than no appointment, so Slot’d never quietly shifts one to a different day.
