Managing bookings
Every booking — from a Slot or a standard time — lands on your calendar and in your client’s history.
Your calendar
The Calendar gives you month, week, and day views. Open any appointment to see the details and take action: reschedule, cancel, mark completed, or mark no-show.
Reschedule & cancel
- Reschedule moves the appointment to a new open time and notifies the client.
- Cancel reopens the Slot (if it came from one), refunds per your policy, and notifies the client. Always cancel from Slot’d rather than editing Stripe or your calendar directly, so everything stays in sync.
Clients can also reschedule or cancel themselves from the link in their confirmation email — see Manage your booking.
No-shows
Mark a missed appointment as a no-show to keep your records accurate. For Slots, this can reopen the seat and trigger your waitlist.
Every booking also carries a Slot Pass you can revoke to cancel it in one action — see Slot Passes.
Calendar sync
- Google Calendar — connect it in Settings for two-way sync: your Slot’d appointments appear in Google, and your external Google events mark you busy so nothing double-books. There’s also a Google Calendar shortcut on the Calendar page that takes you straight to the sync settings.
- Apple Calendar / other apps — subscribe to your Slot’d calendar feed (an ICS link in Settings). Your appointments show up automatically and refresh on their own. This is a read-only subscription, so it works with any calendar app that supports iCal/ICS.
