Locations

If you work in more than one place (your shop, a client’s driveway, the north field at the park), save each one as a location. Clients then see where to show up on your Slots, in their confirmation, and in their calendar.

Adding a location

  1. Go to Settings → Booking and scroll to Locations.
  2. Click + Add location.
  3. Fill in:
    • Name, like “North Field”. Clients see this.
    • Address (optional). Clients see this too.
    • Notes (optional, private), like a gate code or parking tip. Only you see these.
  4. Click Add location.

On the Free plan you can have one active location. Adding a second needs a paid plan. Archived locations don’t count, so if you move, archive the old one and add the new one. If you drop to Free with several locations, they all keep working; you just can’t add another. See Billing & plans.

Use Edit to change a location. Archive removes it from your list and from the pickers, so you can’t choose it for new Slots.

A default location for each service

Once you have at least one location, each service gets a Default location setting in Services.

  • When you create a Slot for that service, the location is filled in for you. You can change it on that Slot.
  • When a client books that service at a standard time (not from a Slot), the appointment uses the service’s default location.

Choosing a location on a Slot

The Location picker appears when you create a single Slot. When you fill a window with several Slots at once, the one Location you pick applies to every Slot in that window. Pick None if there’s no set place.

A Slot’s location can’t be changed with Edit. To move an open Slot, delete it and create a new one.

What clients see

The location name, and the address if you added one, appears:

  • Next to the Slot on your booking page
  • On the confirmation screen after booking a Slot
  • In their confirmation email
  • On their Slot Pass

It also appears on the appointment in your own calendar feed. Private notes are never shown to clients.

Editing a location later

A booking keeps the location name and address it had when it was made. If you rename a location or change its address, existing Slots and appointments don’t update. Tell any affected clients directly, for example through the Message Center.
