1. Create your account
Go to app.slotd.app and sign up with email, Google, Facebook, or Apple. Your 14-day free trial starts automatically — no credit card required.
2. Pick your vertical
During onboarding you’ll choose the vertical that best fits your business. Your vertical sets your default services, your intake questions, and the wording used across the app:
- Coaching & training — participant-based intake (skill level, goals, progress).
- Tutoring & test prep — student-based intake (grade, subject, parent/guardian).
- Property services — site-based intake (lawn, detailing, pressure washing…).
- Personal care — subject-based intake (hair, massage, nails, grooming…).
- General — a catch-all; you name your trade.
You can fine-tune everything afterward — the vertical just gives you a sensible starting point.
3. Finish guided onboarding
Onboarding walks you through the essentials in order:
- Your business — name, contact details, timezone, and your city.
- Services — what you offer, how long each takes, and the price.
- Availability — your weekly hours (and any blocked dates).
- Booking page — your public page at
slotd.app/book/your-handle.
Don’t want to do it all now?
Choose Look around first at the top of setup and you’ll go straight to your dashboard. Nothing is lost — your home page keeps a card showing what’s still to do, with a Resume setup button whenever you’re ready.
4. Work through the setup checklist
Your dashboard home shows how far along you are and what to do next — one step at a time rather than a wall of tasks. It covers the things that actually stop you trading:
- Adding a service, setting your hours, and publishing your page (nothing can be booked until these three are done)
- Getting listed in Slot’d search
- Connecting payments so deposits actually hold a slot
- Adding photos of your work
The card disappears once everything’s done.
