Services & availability

Your services are what clients book; your availability is when they can book it. Together they drive both your booking page and your Slots.

Services

Each service has a name, a duration, and a price. In Services in the left-hand menu you can:

  • Add, edit, reorder, and deactivate services.
  • Set a deposit or require full payment at booking.
  • Assign a default location (pre-fills the picker when you create a Slot).
  • Assign a per-service intake form (see Your booking page & intake forms).
  • Set Pass rules — whether a booking’s Slot Pass is reschedulable or revocable.

Availability

In Availability you set your recurring weekly hours — the windows when standard bookings can land. You can also:

  • Block specific dates (holidays, time off) so nothing books then.
  • Keep availability in sync with your calendar — external events on a connected Google Calendar and manual blocks both mark you busy. See Managing bookings.

How availability and Slots differ

  • Standard availability lets a client pick any open time that fits your hours and a service’s duration.
  • A Slot is a specific opening you create and share on its own link. Slots and standard bookings never double-book — your appointments are the single source of truth for taken time.

Deleting a service

Slot’d shows you exactly what will happen before anything is removed, because deleting a service affects more than the service itself.

  • Open Slots for that service are deleted with it. They can’t survive without it — their share links would keep working while quietly showing the wrong thing.
  • Slots someone has already claimed and paid for are kept, and so is every appointment. A client who has booked and paid keeps their booking, full stop.
  • Past appointments keep their details. Service name, duration and price are recorded on the appointment when it’s booked, so your history and your client records stay accurate even after the service is gone.

You’ll see a count of what’s about to be deleted and what’s being kept before you confirm. If you only want to stop taking new bookings for something, deactivate it instead — it disappears from your booking page and keeps everything intact.
